Personal Training
Whether you want to look good for your wedding or a holiday, or simply struggle with the commitment of a long term plan exercise programme, personal training could be the answer. Personal training helps by providing structure, results, variety and motivation.
Personal Training sessions are designed for those individuals or groups who want to receive expert help and guidance on a regular weekly basis to achieve their goal(s). Here are some popular goals:
- Weight Loss
- Toning
- Improve fitness
- Improve performance
- Train for a new challenge
- Increase mobility, flexibility and agility
- Improve workout quality
- Improve muscle or postural weaknesses
Having a regularly scheduled appointment is great for maintaining your motivation. Not only will you have someone else to report back to, you'll also be taking part in a structured and realistic programme designed to deliver maximum results in the minimum of time.
You will start with an initial consultation to assess your current state of health and define your fitness goals. This gives you an agreed starting point, and also a benchmark against which to measure your progress.
Each session will be at the correct intensity and duration as well as being exciting, challenging and varied. You will learn new techniques and different ways of exercising as we move towards your goals. If you do not have any type of resistance work in your programme it will be introduced, it is vital for strong bones (ie osteoporosis prevention) and muscles (protecting your heart).
Every 6-8 weeks you will receive a health and fitness test designed to monitor your progress and re-assess your programme. In addition you will receive regular flexibility checks, a weekly exercise programme, postural and technical advice and nutritional information including what best to eat before and after training/sport/competing.
